Broussard welcomes Loft 18, golf-themed restaurant with games and interactive dining

"BROUSSARD, La. (NEWS 15) — Broussard welcomed a new entertainment spot as Loft 18 opened its doors on Friday, June 20.

The Louisiana-based chain restaurant features food, drinks, and six sports simulator bays where patrons can enjoy various games, including golf."

"The 10,000-square-foot restaurant will hold a grand opening Friday to mark its opening in the space of the former Ballroom of Broussard at 405 Albertson Parkway.

Loft18 will have six simulator bays that can play a variety of games, and a VIP room, he said. The bays can hold up to 12 people. Its menu will include sports bar and grill food such as hamburgers, wings and tacos."

"Loft18, a digital golf simulation sports bar, is replacing Drago's Seafood at 4580 Constitution Avenue by the end of May. It will be the biggest Loft18 location yet at 14,000 square feet.

They are still working on the interior of the new location, but between artist renderings and their Mandeville location, people can get an idea of what they have in the works. Here's what the new family-friendly restaurant will look like."

"According to its website, the Baton Rouge location will have six Full Swing Golf simulation bays, high-top and booth seating and a VIP suite for hosting events. Other simulation games offered are darts, skeeball, baseball pitching, carnival games and more.

“Outside of the game of golf, Full Swing has developed multiple games including Zombie Dodgeball, Football, Home Run Derby, Cup Pong, Battle Ship, and so much more for the everyday customer,” Partner Ty Duet said."

"After recently announcing two new locations in Lafayette Parish, Metairie-based Loft18 is now planning to add a Baton Rouge location. Offering golf and other sports simulators, Loft18 focuses on providing a lively sports bar, restaurant, and hospitality experience to distinguish itself from other golf simulator establishments and golf facilities like Topgolf. The Baton Rouge location is set to open in May at 4580 Constitution Ave."
